Maha Ganayon Kyaung Monastery

The Maha Ganayon Kyaung Monstery is one of the places that made me shiver even though the temperature was much higher than 30 degrees Centigrade. The reason is the shear endless number of young monks queing up for their daily meal. Other than in Thailand, where monks do not like to be photographed while eating, tourists are warmly welcome to take whatever picture they desire. I did not want to embarrass them so I kept a polite distance, but I was encouraged to come near and watch them from real close. The pictures speak for themselves..
